Standard boards ship within two to four weeks. Custom board orders vary, but you can expect to hear from us within one business day to get the process going.
Cards ship within three business days. Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from two to seven business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times will vary. If you need it in a hurry, we offer expedited shipping options, available at checkout!
I ACCIDENTALLY PURCHASED THE WRONG ITEM! WILL YOU EXCHANGE IT FOR ME?
We are happy to exchange your card order! Email us at email@example.com with your purchase details and desired exchange. Mail any items you'd like exchanged to 1577 Pacific St, Suite 4, Brooklyn NY 11213. Once we receive your package, we will ship out your new item(s) via standard mail to all continental US locations. Please specify if you'd like expedited shipping. We will wait for your shipping payment before we mail your exchange order.

do you gift wrap?
We certainly do! If purchasing items as gifts that you'd like wrapped, please select the "gift wrap" option during the checkout process. Be sure to specify the recipient's name, address, and any handwritten message you'd like included in the package.
I JUST PLACED A CUSTOM BOARD ORDER. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Wahoo! You will soon be the proud owner of truly unique piece. Expect to hear from us within one business day at the email address you've provided at checkout with information, options and a couple of questions. We don't want to overwhelm you, but do wish to make sure you're getting exactly what you want!
After we have communicated about your preferences, you can expect to receive three unique, to-scale sketches of board designs. After picking your favorite one, we will get straight to the studio to begin production! Your board should then be on its way within two to four weeks.
is there any way to get my board faster?
We do prefer a window of two to four weeks, to account for any snag in the making process. However, we do understand dire gifting needs, and wish to accommodate when possible. We offer rush production for an additional fee of $125 per board, which will ship within a week and a half from your order date. Specify "rush production" at checkout and we'll get straight to it.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your card purchase, unopened items may be returned to us free of charge within 30 days of purchase (shipping not included). Simply send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org notifying us of your return, and mail your package back to 1577 Pacific St, Suite 4, Brooklyn NY 11213. Expect a refund to your original payment method within 3 business days from when we receive your item(s). Though unlikely, we will not be able to issue a refund for any items that arrive damaged or opened.
Unfortunately, we do not offer returns or refunds for standard or custom boards.
BOARD STORAGE & CARE
WHAT CAN I USE MY BOARD FOR?
You can use your board as a serving or cutting board! If you aren't that interested in board maintenance however, we would recommend keeping it as a serving tray. If you're a practiced or aspiring cook, you can use your board to cut fruits, veggies, bread, cheese and meat. Please note that if you intend to cut meat (especially poultry & fish), it is highly recommended that you follow our instructions for "healthy wood" first.
FOR HEALTHY WOOD
Apply an even coat of food-safe mineral oil to all surfaces of your cutting board using a cloth or disposable towel once a month, or as needed. Allow the oil to fully penetrate the wood's fibers for an hour or two, then buff off any excess oil. For additional protection, and definitely if you will be cutting meat and other oily / wet foods, apply an even coat of thinned beeswax in addition (such as Boos Block Board Cream). This helps protect over time against food particles & liquids from seeping into the wood fibers.
With use your board will lose its initial "softness," which is easily restored by giving it a quick scuff with 320 grit sandpaper. Be sure to sand along the direction of the grain. With a clean cloth, wipe off the dust before applying an even coat of your favorite food-safe oil.
HOW CAN I CLEAN MY BOARD?
If using only as a serving board, wipe down with a dry or lightly damp cloth and immediately pat dry.
If using as a cutting board, first wipe off any excess food particles from the board's surface. If needed, sanitize your cutting board by wiping down all surfaces with mild dish soap and warm water. If stains have developed, sprinkle baking soda over any stained area, and rub with a cloth or sponge dipped in hot water. Dry thoroughly.
Do not allow liquids of any kind to stand on your board for long periods of time. This will soak into the wood, causing the wood to expand soften. It may affect the strength of the glued joints. Never ever soak your board or put into a dishwasher.
WHERE SHOULD I KEEP MY BOARD?
To best maintain wood health, store in a moderate climate away from heating devices or direct sun rays. It is best to allow even airflow on both sides of your board; standing upright on a counter or hanging from the built-in hole is a great way to store and display your board!

Will my board look just like the picture?
Nope, it won't! That's the beauty of working with a natural material. While your board will be made with the material listed in its product page (i.e. walnut or beech), each cut of lumber is unique, and has a distinct hue and grain pattern. We make a point to choose the most beautiful slices of wood, and combine them to make "flow" for you.
